CHANGES IN AK BARS ROSTERContracts of five Ak Bars forwards are expired and they leave our team: Oleg Petrov, Josef Straka, Maxim Spiridonov, Konstantin Glazachev and Evgeny Lapenkov. Four players prolongated their contracts: defensemen Grigory Panin and Vasily Tokranov, forwards Kirill Petrov and Artyom Lukoyanov. The first Ak Bars newcomers are goaltender Konstantin Barulin, forwards Dmitry Obukhov, Denis Abdullin and Maxim Mayorov.
Konstantin Barulin. General information: Position: Goaltender. Date of birth: 04.09.1984. Height – 186 cm, weight – 93 kg. Started to play hockey in Karaganda. During his career he played for Gazovik Tumen, SKA Saint-Petersburg, Khimik / Atlant Moscow region, CSKA Moscow. He won the Silver medal of the Russian Championship (2011), the Gold medal of the IIHF U-20 World Championship (2003), the Silver medal of the IIHF U-18 World Championship (2002) and the Winter Universiade twice (2003, 2005).
