Sarmatin Mikhail Sergeevich

Date of Birth: 26.10.1972

Mikhail started to play hockey in Kazan. During his player career he played for Tan (Kazan), Itil'/Ak Bars (Kazan), Dynamo-Energia (Ekaterinburg), Neftekhimik (Nizhnekamsk), Metallurg (Magnitogorsk), Sibir (Novosibirsk), Torpedo (Nizhniy Novgorod), Traktor (Chelyabinsk) and Amur (Khabarovsk). Despite on the large list of teams, he spent 10 seasons (1992-2002) in our club. During this period he scored 93 goals and made 71 assists in 360 games, and, as other team leaders, he made a great impact on the first valuable team achievments in its history in Russian premier leagues. With Ak Bars he won the Russian Championship (1998), the Silver medal of the Russian Championship two times (2000, 2002), the Bronze medal of the IIHF Continental Cup (1999).
