Born on September 14, 1982, in Järvenpää (Finland). Played as a goalkeeper, he played for the following teams: Haukat (Järvenpää), Hunters (Porvoo), Kotkan Titaanit (Kotka).

He has been working as a coach since 2010. He worked as a goalie coach for Finnish clubs Espoo Blues (2010-2015) and Jokerit (2015-2016), Chinese Kunlun Red Star (2016-2018) and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (2018-2020).
